Donating gifts worth 150 million VND to students in the mountainous region of Que Phong.
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 29th, the Que Phong District Youth Union, in coordination with the Nghi Loc District Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Book Club for Educational Support, organized a volunteer program to donate gifts to students in the villages of Huoi Moi, Tri Le, Na Sanh (Tien Phong commune), and Khun Na (Dong Van commune).
On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts including: 4 televisions, gifts for 15 teachers at primary schools, notebooks, backpacks, water bottles, warm jackets, and candies for 300 students. The total value was 150 million VND, raised from contributions and support of the Ho Chi Minh City Book Club for Educational Support.
These practical gifts have contributed to sharing the difficulties and helping children in mountainous areas have a warmer winter as Tet (Lunar New Year) approaches, while also demonstrating the love and affection of officials, union members, youth, and the Ho Chi Minh City Book Promotion Club for ethnic minority communities.
