(Baonghean.vn) - On February 14th (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year of the Dragon), the people of Bong village, Thanh Son commune (Anh Son district) held the Harvest Festival. This is a traditional cultural activity deeply rooted in the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic group in the lower reaches of the Con River.
Ban Bong village, Thanh Son commune (Anh Son district), is home to over 250 households of the Thai ethnic minority. Every year, on the 5th day of the Lunar New Year, the clans in Ban Bong prepare offerings to bring to the village's main temple to worship the mountain and river gods, praying for favorable weather, peaceful lives, and bountiful harvests.
