On March 13, the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Phuc Province announced the results of the investigation.pursuitThe subjects carried out the robbery of 1 billion VND that occurred on Me Linh Street, Lien Bao Ward, Vinh Yen City.

According to police documents, on March 8, Vinh Phuc Provincial Police received a crime report from Vinh Yen City Police with the following content: At about 3:40 p.m. the same day, Ms. Phan Thi T. (born in 1990, residing in Vinh Tuong district) went to the bank to withdraw 1 billion VND in cash.

Immediately after receiving the report, the police investigated and arrested the subjects who committed the robbery.

During the investigation and arrest, the police determined that in addition to the two subjects who directly robbed Ms. T., there was also a male subject wearing black-rimmed glasses, riding a blue Honda Wave motorbike, who also participated in the crime.

By 3:00 p.m. on March 9, nearly 24 hours after receiving the report, the police had identified one suspect involved in the robbery.

Immediately afterwards, the unit concentrated forces to apply urgent measures to capture and at the same time persuade the subject to surrender.

At 3:20 p.m. the same day, Nguyen Hoai Nam (born in 1999, residing in Kien Hung ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi) surrendered.

At around 3:00 a.m. on March 10, the Criminal Police Department of Vinh Phuc Province Police coordinated with the Kim Thanh District Police, Hai Duong Province, to arrest the second suspect, Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1992, residing in Bac Thang Village, Lien Hoa Commune, Kim Thanh District). The remaining suspect, Duong Duc Luan (born 2000, residing in Nhu Lang village, Ha Hai commune, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province), has fled.

At the investigation agency, Hung and Nam initially confessed: Due to heavy debt and lack of money for personal expenses, Hung, Nam and Luan joined the Facebook group "Association of bankrupt people who want to do risky work - Nationwide" (the 3 subjects themselves did not know each other).

After that, the three subjects sent private messages and met to discuss and agree on robbing people who withdrew money at banks in Vinh Yen City.

The subjects agreed that Nam would go to the bank's transaction counter to observe and identify customers, especially women, who came to withdraw a lot of money, then inform Hung and Luan via Facebook to wait outside to follow and rob them.

On March 5, 3 subjects rode 2 motorbikes to Vinh Yen City, entered many banks but did not rob anyone.

At around 3:40 p.m. on March 8, after observing Ms. T. coming to withdraw 1 billion VND at the transaction counter of a bank in Vinh Yen City, Nam informed Hung and Luan to follow her, snatch her money, and quickly escape.

On the way to Hanoi, the suspects took many different routes and changed their original clothes to hide and avoid being caught by the police. After returning to Hanoi, the suspects divided the money they had just robbed from Ms. T. and then fled.

Up to now, the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Phuc Province has issued a decision to initiate criminal proceedings, prosecute the accused, issue a detention order against Hung and Nam for the crime of "Robbery"; and issue a wanted notice for Duong Duc Luan.

The Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Phuc Province Police requests that anyone who knows or discovers Duong Duc Luan should immediately arrest and take him to the nearest police agency, prosecutor's office or People's Committee, and immediately notify the Criminal Police Department of Vinh Phuc Province Police via phone number: 0692.621.236 or investigator Nguyen Viet Hung (Phone number: 0975.125.335) to coordinate in handling the case according to regulations.
