(Baonghean.vn) - "90 days of determination to achieve high results in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam" is a competitive movement being implemented by schools across the province, with the goal of working with the provincial Education sector to increase at least 4 ranks in this year's exam season.

After the first mock exam, with an average score of 5.9 points in Literature, teacher Le Thi Thach and students in class 12C9, Nguyen Sy Sach High School (Thanh Chuong) could not be satisfied with the results achieved.
Therefore, since the beginning of April, in parallel with teaching and learning according to the main curriculum at school, every afternoon, class hours have started to shift to reviewing test questions.
“12C9 is a special class, so the students’ abilities are limited and their awareness of exam preparation is not high. After the first mock exam, I reviewed all the students’ scores and papers to accurately assess each student’s abilities. Based on that, during the teaching, reviewing and practicing process, I will focus on the content that students are still lacking.
In addition, the practice test process will also give students test-taking skills. From now until the official exam takes place, we are aiming for an average score of 7.3 points in Literature. To do that, both teachers and students must strive every day. As for me, I will be very enthusiastic, put all my heart into supporting my students and consider them as my own children to closely accompany them in this final stretch," Ms. Thach shared.
"Do not walk slowly, do not talk privately, do not do private work during class, sit at the desk to study by yourself, explore and accumulate knowledge at home" are the requirements that the Board of Directors of Nguyen Sy Sach High School (Thanh Chuong) set for 438 12th grade students of the school at the launching ceremony.“90 days of determination to achieve high results in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam”.
“We have organized mock exams and compared the results with mock exams and real exams of previous years, and found that a number of students still do not have the awareness to study. Therefore, in this competition, along with the requirements from the students, the school's teaching council is also united and determined to compete to achieve and exceed the graduation exam commitment targets, through specific actions and deeds.
That is investing in lesson plans suitable for each student, increasing the organization of separate mock exams many times, being enthusiastic in free teaching, being patient in tutoring the weak, loving and tolerant in education, being disciplined and orderly in teaching, regularly monitoring, checking and evaluating students. The school has also signed a commitment with the homeroom teachers and the head of the parents' association on implementing the sense of organization and discipline, and signing a commitment to try to achieve high scores in the mock exams...".
In less than 3 months, the High School Graduation Exam will officially begin. In the final moments, teachers and students at the Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2 are determined to achieve the goal of maintaining their position with an average exam score among the top in the province.
This is also a school where the percentage of students wishing to enter university is nearly 100%, so exam preparation is given great attention by the students.
Nguyen Xuan Hai, a 12th grader at the Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2, said: “According to the latest announcement, this year, security schools will consider admission by combining the National High School Exam scores and the results of the Competency Assessment Test organized by the Ministry of Public Security. Therefore, I currently have to study well in the C3 Math - Literature - History group, and study all subjects equally to be able to do 50 multiple choice and essay questions in the Competency Assessment Test of the Ministry of Public Security. I tried doing a test and found that the knowledge was quite broad, the test was quite difficult.
Therefore, from now until the official exam takes place, I have determined to practice a lot and grasp the knowledge in the textbooks. Nearer the exam date, we will pool money to buy a set of test questions to assess our ability to practice our test-taking skills.

The 2023-2024 school year is the first year that Nghe An Education Department launched the emulation movement "90 days of determination to achieve high results in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam". After nearly 1 month of implementation, this movement has had a positive impact on teaching and learning in schools.
At Nguyen Duy Trinh High School (Nghi Loc), right from the beginning of grade 12, the school has classified students' ability groups to guide them in choosing their desired major, career, and school. This classification also helps teachers easily review for students, helping them achieve the highest scores in the upcoming high school graduation exam.
We do not aim to teach students by rote, but to teach all knowledge equally to help students do well in the High School Graduation Exam and participate in competency assessment exams. I also aim to teach students in a way that helps them understand the core of each type. Once they have mastered the basic knowledge, students will gradually approach more difficult exercises, applied and high-level application problems.
Ha Huy Tap High School (Vinh city) is also one of the first schools in Nghe An province to organize a launching ceremony and sign a commitment to implement the program "90 days of determination to achieve high results in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam".
This school year, the school strives to graduate from 10th to 12th in the province, with all subjects increasing in rank compared to 2023. In addition, the school also aims for 100% of students to graduate.
Teacher Cao Thanh Bao - Principal of the school said: "At this time, teachers will mainly summarize basic knowledge for students and help them review missing knowledge to promptly supplement and practice. We have also asked professional groups to closely follow the content and structure of the high school graduation exam of the Ministry of Education and Training. From there, build a review plan to ensure knowledge standards, review from low to high, from simple to complex and let students get acquainted with illustrative exam formats".
