President Joe Biden reveals the end date of the Russia-Ukraine conflict
(Baonghean.vn) - US President Joe Biden affirmed that the conflict in Ukraine will end after Washington allocates aid to Kiev.

At a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, US President Joe Biden expressed confidence that the conflict in Ukraine will end after the US Congress votes to allocate new aid to Kiev.
"The war in Ukraine will end when House leadership votes to pass an aid package. There is overwhelming support for Ukraine from a majority of Democrats and Republicans. The vote must happen now," President Joe Biden said.
However, at the press conference, the US leader ignored the reporters' repeated questions about whether the US had a plan to establish peace in Ukraine.
House Speaker Mike Johnson earlier expressed hope that lawmakers would be able to begin considering a bill to support Kiev when they return from recess in April.
According to Mike Johnson, the bill will have new concepts and approaches, in particular, the provision on confiscation of frozen Russian assets may appear. In this way, Mr. Johnson may face increased discontent from members of his party who do not support Ukraine. They may try to force him to leave the Speaker's seat, if the bill is voted on. The Democratic minority in the House is indicating that they are ready to support Mr. Johnson in this case.
In December 2023, the US government exhausted its ability to provide weapons to Ukraine. In 2024, only a $300 million aid package was delivered. The White House's request to allocate $60 billion to Kiev is pending approval./.
