(Baonghean.vn) - As an important highlight in the "Decade of Festivals" at Nguyen Canh Hoan Temple in Trang Son Commune (Do Luong), the procession of the gods was organized on a large scale, attracting the attention of locals and tourists.
Within the framework of the "Decade of Laws" Festival, on the morning of April 23 (ie March 15 of the lunar calendar), the solemn procession of the gods from the temple of Thai Pho Tan Quoc Cong Nguyen Canh Hoan (Trang Son commune) to Duc Hoang temple and Phuc My pagoda (Yen Son commune) took place. Photo: Huy ThuIn "Decade of rituals", there are two main processions, including the procession of ancestors of the Nguyen Canh clan from districts and towns in the province to the temple of Thai Pho Nguyen Canh Hoan to attend the ceremony (13th of the third lunar month) and the procession of the gods from Thai Pho temple to Duc Hoang temple (15th of the third lunar month). Photo: Huy ThuIt is known that before the festival took place, to prepare for the procession, the Organizing Committee surveyed the routes from Thai Pho Temple to Duc Hoang Temple and vice versa; carefully checked and examined the sacrificial objects, tools, mascots, vehicles, palanquins, photos, flags, serving the procession, and carefully rehearsed... When the procession arrived at Duc Hoang Temple (the temple of King Le Trang Tong), the procession lowered the Saint's palanquin in front of the gate, and the representative of the Organizing Committee offered gifts and performed the procedure of reporting to the King to request the opening of the festival.
