Authorities arrested a suspect for trafficking 104 kg of firecrackers and explosives.
(Baonghean.vn) - While transporting 100kg of firecrackers and 4kg of explosives to a customer, Tran Dai Sy was discovered and arrested by the police.
Accordingly, at 11:00 AM on May 25th, in Hamlet 5, Thanh Ha Commune, Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An Province, the Anti-Corruption, Economic Crime and Smuggling Investigation Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police, in coordination with the Thanh Chuong District Police, successfully cracked a case, apprehending Tran Dai Sy (born in 1987), residing in Thanh Ha Commune, Thanh Chuong District, for the act of producing and trading prohibited goods.
The seized items included: 70 firework mortars (36-shot type) of foreign origin, weighing a total of 100 kg; and 20 sticks of fireworks.explosivesIt weighs 0.4 kg, contains 40 detonators, and one car.
At the police station, suspect Tran Dai Sy confessed to buying the fireworks, explosives, and detonators with the intention of reselling them for profit. However, he was apprehended by the police while en route to deliver them to a customer. The case is currently under further investigation by the police.
