Nghe An: One fisherman missing at sea.
On June 9th, a fisherman in Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district, was swept away by waves and went missing after rescuing his wife who had fallen into the sea.
At approximately 2:00 AM on June 9th, while Mr. Ho Van Cay (born in 1967), a resident of Tan Lap 1 hamlet, Nghi Quang commune, was fishing in the waters off Nghi Loc district, his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luat (born in 1971), who was also on the boat, unexpectedly fell into the sea.

Seeing his wife in danger, Mr. Cay jumped in to save her. However, after pulling Mrs. Luat out of the water, Mr. Cay was swept away by the waves and disappeared.
Upon receiving the report, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command directed the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station to deploy forces and equipment to coordinate closely with other functional forces in the search and rescue operation.
At the same time, coastal border guard stations were instructed to notify fishing vessels operating in the vicinity to participate in the search for the missing person.
