Nghe An: 1 fisherman missing at sea
On June 9, a fisherman in Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district was swept away by waves and went missing after rescuing his wife who fell into the sea.
At around 2:00 a.m. on June 9, when the fishing boat of Mr. Ho Van Cay (born in 1967), permanent resident of Tan Lap 1 hamlet, Nghi Quang commune, was exploiting seafood in the coastal area of Nghi Loc district, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luat (born in 1971), Mr. Cay's wife, who was also on the boat, suddenly fell into the sea.

Seeing his wife in trouble, Mr. Cay jumped in to save her. However, after pulling Mrs. Luat up, Mr. Cay was swept away by the waves and went missing.
Upon receiving the news, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command directed the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station to deploy forces and vehicles to closely coordinate with functional forces to participate in search and rescue.
At the same time, direct coastal border stations to notify fishing vessels in the area that are fishing in the surrounding area to participate in the search for the missing person.
