The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor contributed many important contents.
On the morning of June 17, the Provincial Labor Federation held a Standing Committee meeting with many contents to be implemented in the coming time. Comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation chaired the meeting.
The conference gave comments on the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023-2028. Accordingly, in addition to continuing to propagate and thoroughly implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Action Program of Nghe An Trade Union deployed the development of plans for 4 programs, 5 Resolutions, 13 Projects... Delegates raised many practical opinions, ensuring the orientation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in accordance with the characteristics and situation in Nghe An.
The conference also gave comments on the draft Interim Report for the first 6 months of 2024 and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Based on the 8 groups of issues developed, the delegates emphasized important and typical contents in the first 6 months of the year; at the same time, specifically identified the limitations that have not been achieved to find out the causes and solutions to overcome them, and set the direction for the last 6 months of the year.
Directing the conference, comrade Kha Van Tam emphasized that the trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year continued to have many positive results with a number of activities having a good influence. Especially the content of bringing the Trade Union Congress Resolution into life in a suitable and timely manner; propaganda, political and ideological education; care and commendation activities were deployed comprehensively and widely; many outstanding targets; many inspections and supervisions were carried out.
These results once again affirm the importance of appropriate and timely planning; sense of responsibility of cadres; orientation towards the grassroots and serving workers.
In addition to the results achieved, the ChairmanProvincial Federation of Laborpointed out that there are still limitations such as some unachieved results, the voice of the Trade Union in building regimes and policies is not high... From there, in the coming time, it is necessary to pay attention to the inspection and supervision stage; build information channels to grasp the aspirations of workers and make recommendations to the superior authorities; in particular, continue to promote the development of union members, establish grassroots unions; pay attention to financial work and focus on some key contents at the end of 2024...
The Conference also listened to and considered the contents of the Report.Workers' Month2024. Accordingly, with the theme "Solidarity of workers - Implementation of the Resolution", the 2024 Workers' Month is implemented by Nghe An Trade Unions at all levels with focus, meaning, and in accordance with the practical situation. The theme is specified by trade unions at all levels, closely following the key tasks and breakthroughs in the Resolution of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels to propose contents and activities for implementation. The plan was deployed early and provided extensive guidance, creating initiative and convenience for trade unions at all levels. Activities at each level from the province to the grassroots level were selected correctly, directed simultaneously, and aimed at workers, creating highlights and spreading power throughout the province...
The conference also heard a report on the results of monitoring the spending to support union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024; giving opinions on the 2023 Financial Finalization Public Report and giving opinions on personnel work.
