Many beaches in Nghe An are packed with tourists flocking to 'cool off'
In recent days, thousands of tourists have flocked to beaches in Nghe An province to swim and relax. This is considered a suitable choice during the hot weather.
In recent days, the North Central region has been experiencing widespread heat waves, with temperatures sometimes reaching 40 degrees Celsius, making the weather hot and humid. Many tourists and locals choose beaches in Nghe An to cool off, especially on weekends when they are always crowded.

Every day, in the coastal town of Cua Lo, from early morning, many tourists flock to the beach area. The busiest time is in the late afternoon, tourists gather along the beach and seafood restaurants. On Binh Minh Street, vehicles move busily and park on both sides of the road.

The majority of visitors come from the northern provinces and cities and districts of Nghe An province. Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang, a tourist from Son La province, said: “The heat wave that lasted for many days made everyone tired, so our family decided to go to Cua Lo beach to “cool off”. It can be said that this is a reasonable and effective choice, because swimming in the sea soothes the heat and relaxes the spirit.”
Nguyen Tat Son, a tourist from Do Luong district, shared that the prolonged heat and stuffy air made the whole family go to Cua Lo beach to cool off on the weekend. In addition to swimming, his children also had fun and had the opportunity to relax during the summer vacation.

Mr. Hoang Thanh Son - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Cua Lo town said: "Compared to previous years, this year's peak tourist season has seen a sharp increase in the number of visitors to the coastal town of Cua Lo. Every day, welcoming and serving tens of thousands of visitors, the hotels in the area are all fully booked, especially on weekends, the large hotels on Binh Minh Street are all "full" of rooms."
According to Mr. Son, this comes from changes in landscape and renewed tourism products, especially since the VinWonders Amusement Park came into operation, contributing significantly to "attracting" visitors to Cua Lo.

Along with Cua Lo, Quynh beach (beaches in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town) also attracts a large number of visitors to swim and enjoy seafood.
Mr. Duong Van Thao, a tourist from Nghia Dan district, said: “The prolonged hot weather affects our health and spirit, so my family chose Quynh beach to “cool off”. Because it is close, convenient to travel, has decent accommodation, and reasonable prices.”

According to Mr. Pham Van Giang - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Quynh Luu district, in recent days, on average, thousands of tourists and local people have flocked to beaches in the district such as Quynh Nghia, Quynh Bang, and Quynh Luong.
Most of the tourists come from neighboring districts such as Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Thai Hoa town. The time for tourists to swim is usually early morning and late afternoon every day, the number of visitors staying is higher than in the first months of the season.

Not only Cua Lo and Quynh beach, beaches in Dien Chau district (Dien Hai, Dien Thanh, Cua Hien) and Nghi Loc (Bai Lu, Tien Phong) also attract a lot of tourists.

Summer 2024 is forecasted to be hotter than the average of many years, with many severe heat waves. Therefore, it is expected that coastal tourist destinations in Nghe An will continue to welcome a large number of visitors in the coming time./.
