The National Assembly voted to approve the Resolution on the establishment of a specialized monitoring delegation on "The implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 came into effect" with 448 out of 449 National Assembly deputies participating in the vote, achieving 91.99%, on the morning of June 21.
On the same day, the National Assembly voted to pass the amended Archives Law with 457 out of 463 participating deputies voting in favor, achieving 93.84%. The law comprises 8 chapters and 65 articles, regulating: general provisions, management of archival documents and archival document databases, archival operations, special archival documents and the promotion of the value of archival documents, private archives, archival service activities, state management of archives, and implementing provisions.
Also on the agenda, the National Assembly discussed in the plenary session the draft Law on Juvenile Justice; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15, the Housing Law No. 27/2023/QH15, the Real Estate Business Law No. 29/2023/QH15, and the Law on Credit Institutions No. 32/2024/QH15.

According to the Forest Protection Department's report: Areas at high risk of forest fires in Nghe An include 15,476 hectares of pine plantations in Dien Chau, Hung Nguyen, Yen Thanh, and Thanh Chuong districts… There are also 720 hectares of mixed eucalyptus forests (a species with essential oils, easily flammable), over 42,900 hectares of bamboo forests, and 173,867 hectares of mixed timber-bamboo forests.
