The 764th Regiment, under the Military Command of Nghe An province, is tasked with combat readiness training and undertaking many other special duties. Over the past five years, the Regiment has consistently excelled in all assigned tasks, earning the title of "Unit of Victory."
The 764th Regiment, under the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, is stationed in Vinh City. The regiment's responsibilities include training, combat readiness, disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, forest fire response, training of Category 3 personnel, and carrying out other assigned tasks. Currently, the 764th Regiment comprises three battalions: Battalions 1 and 2, with the remaining battalion consisting of reserve troops. After more than 3 months, despite facing many difficulties, with the spirit of "Overcoming the sun and rain, enthusiastically training," 100% of the soldiers completed the military training, political education, logistics, and technical training programs and plans. The melodies of songs accompanied by music help new recruits alleviate homesickness and focus on completing their missions. It can be said that, despite facing many hardships and difficulties, the Regiment always upholds the spirit of "Serving the people, fighting and sacrificing for the people."
