Along the remote roads of the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Vientiane, and Xaysomboun in neighboring Laos, the footsteps of the Search and Recovery Team of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command silently traverse streams and steep mountain ranges to search for and bring thousands of remains of fallen soldiers back to their homeland. It is also a journey to rediscover pieces of history, to uncover moving stories of the heroic sacrifices of countless generations who fell for their country and for the noble and proud international mission.
