The Nghe An Provincial Union of Public Employees awarded 59 outstanding grassroots union officials and members in 2024.

On the morning of July 11th, the Nghe An Provincial Union of Civil Servants held a conference to commend outstanding grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade union officials, and trade union members in 2024.

Prior to the conference, the delegation of trade union officials from Nghe An province laid flowers and reported their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square.

Attending the Conference were representatives from the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; former leaders of the Nghe An Public Employees' Union from various periods; representatives from 49 affiliated grassroots trade unions; and 59 outstanding grassroots trade union officials and members who were honored.

The conference aims to honor outstanding grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade union officials, and trade union members in the patriotic emulation movement, creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition among workers and laborers to successfully achieve the goals and tasks of socio-economic development.

At the same time, this is also a practical activity towards commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2024); the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc (September 22, 1954 – September 22, 2024) and the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Nghe An Provincial Public Employees' Trade Union.

The conference reviewed the movements and activities of the Nghe An Public Employees' Union since its 5th Congress, term 2023-2028, through a documentary.

Over the years, the Trade Union of Public Employees of Nghe An province has continuously innovated in content and methods of operation, focusing on directing grassroots trade unions to strengthen care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

In addition, they actively research and contribute to the development of policies and laws related to workers and trade unions; organize many emulation movements and meaningful, effective activities with strong widespread impact, contributing to the completion of plans of agencies, units, and trade unions, and promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

With numerous activities aimed at improving the lives and employment of its members and workers, the Nghe An Public Employees' Union truly serves as a reliable support system and a place where members and workers in the area can confide their thoughts and aspirations.

To acknowledge the responsible and dedicated efforts and contributions of the leaders of agencies and units, and grassroots trade union officials to the movement of cadres, civil servants, employees, and workers, and the annual trade union activities, the conference awarded the "For the Cause of Building the Trade Union Organization" Commemorative Medal for 2024 from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 5 individuals.

The Nghe An Provincial Union of Public Employees also awarded commendations to 11 grassroots unions for their projects and activities celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union; the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Nghe An Provincial Union of Public Employees; the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; and presented awards to 5 units with outstanding achievements during the "Workers' Month" in 2024.

Also on this occasion, the Trade UnionNghe An officialsAwards and commendations were given to 27 comrades who are grassroots trade union officials with more than 10 years of experience in building the movement of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, and in trade union activities; and 25 individuals who are "Trade Union members following Uncle Ho's teachings" in 2024.
