Nghe An Civil Servants' Union rewards 59 exemplary grassroots union officials and union members in 2024

Before the Conference, the delegation of officials from the Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants' Union offered flowers and reported their achievements to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square.

Attending the Conference were representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Agencies Party Committee; former leaders of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union of different periods; representatives of 49 affiliated grassroots unions and 59 comrades who are grassroots union officials and exemplary union members who were commended.

The conference aims to honor grassroots unions, grassroots union officials and union members who are exemplary in the patriotic emulation movement, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among workers and laborers to successfully implement socio-economic development goals and tasks.

At the same time, this is also a practical activity towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024); the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee (September 22, 1954 - September 22, 2024) and the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union.

The conference looked back at the movements and activities of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union since the 5th Congress, term 2023-2028 of the Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union through a report.

Over the past years, the Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union has constantly innovated in terms of content and methods of operation, focusing on directing grassroots trade unions to promote care and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

In addition, actively research and participate in contributing to the development of policies and laws related to workers and trade unions; organize many emulation movements and meaningful and effective activities with strong influence, contributing to the completion of plans of agencies, units, and trade unions and promoting socio-economic development of the province.

With many activities to care for the lives and jobs of union members and workers, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union is truly a reliable support, a place to express the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers in the area.

In recognition of the efforts, responsible and dedicated contributions of comrades who are leaders of agencies, units, and grassroots trade union officials to the movement of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and annual trade union activities, the conference awarded the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of building trade union organizations" in 2024 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 5 individuals.

Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union also awarded 11 grassroots trade unions with projects and tasks to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union; the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union; the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and awarded 5 units with achievements in the "Workers' Month" in 2024.

Also on this occasion, the UnionNghe An OfficialReward and commend 27 comrades who are grassroots trade union officials with more than 10 years of experience in building the movement of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and trade union activities; 25 individuals are "Trade Union members following Uncle Ho's teachings" in 2024.
