Donating 1,206 energy-saving cooking stoves to families in difficult circumstances.
On July 15th and 16th, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Red Cross Societies of Do Luong and Anh Son districts, organized the donation of 1,206 fuel-efficient cooking stoves to poor households in difficult circumstances who are currently cooking with wood-burning stoves.

Accordingly, 672 fuel-efficient cooking stoves were given to poor households in difficult circumstances in 11 communes in Do Luong district and 534 stoves to households in 3 communes in Anh Son district.
The TK90 fuel-efficient stove uses wood as fuel and has the advantages of high temperature, fast heating, easy ignition, less smoke and dust, reduced emissions, and greater fuel efficiency compared to conventional stoves. This type of stove helps families improve their living conditions, reducing heat and dust.

The second phase of the fuel-efficient cooking stove donation program, sponsored by the Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development Joint Stock Company (SIPCO), significantly reduces emissions, protects the environment, and saves more fuel compared to conventional stoves.
