Donated 1,206 energy-saving stoves to families in difficult circumstances
On July 15 and 16, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Red Cross Societies of Do Luong and Anh Son districts to donate 1,206 fuel-saving stoves to poor households in difficult circumstances who are cooking with wood stoves.

Accordingly, 672 fuel-saving stoves were given to poor households in difficult circumstances in 11 communes in Do Luong district and 534 stoves to households in 3 communes in Anh Son district.
The TK90 fuel-saving stove is a type of stove that uses firewood as fuel. It has the advantages of high temperature, fast cooking, easy to light, less smoke and dust, reduces emissions and saves more fuel than conventional stoves. This type of stove helps families improve their living conditions, reducing heat and dust.

The fuel-saving stove donation program phase 2 is sponsored by the Sustainable Investment Promotion and Development Joint Stock Company (SIPCO), contributing to significantly reducing emissions to protect the environment and save more fuel than conventional stoves.
