The coastal road project through Nghe An province has now handed over 58.19 km/59.91 km of land, reaching 97%. The Department of Transport said it will complete handing over the project site in August 2024.

Currently, the focus is on accelerating the construction progress of the foundation, road surface and works on the route. The value of construction output by the end of July 2024 will reach about 82.2% of the contract. Mr. Nguyen Van Quy - Vice Chairman of Quynh Luu District People's Committee said that the locality has 33 communes located on the coastal road, by the end of July, only 10 households in 3 communes: Quynh Thuan, Quynh Nghia and Tien Thuy have not handed over the site; 15 households in Quynh Tho commune have agreed to receive compensation for site clearance, but have not yet demolished their houses because there is still 1 household stuck with the handover of land for house construction. According to the report of the Project Management Board - Department of Transport, the progress of handing over the project site by the end of July 2024 is 58.19 km/59.91 km, reaching 97%, with 1.72 km remaining. Specifically, in Hoang Mai town, there is 0.1 km left, Quynh Luu 0.55 km, Dien Chau 0.3 km and Nghi Loc 0.8 km. Only Cua Lo town has handed over the entire site.
