According to RT on August 5, Politico (USA) reported that the differences within the Democratic Party regarding the Ukraine issue are actually more intense than what is shown to the public.

“The differences within the Democratic Party, as well as between the administration of US President Joe Biden and the pro-Ukrainian faction in Washington, are stronger than what is being said,” wrote Politico.

According to Politico, in public, Ukraine and its allies, along with most Democrats, “tend to be overly grateful to President Biden” for creating a global alliance and providing unprecedented economic and military support to Kiev. At the same time, Politico notes, in private, these assessments are less generous; some Ukrainian officials, for example, have expressed “sarcasm.”

Famous American journalist Tucker Carlson said that Democratic politicians are often “people who are not used to working”, and “decide to do something, but do not take responsibility”. According to Mr. Carlson, the Democratic Party has no practical skills, and only exists on theory, desire and hope, so they only make things worse. Therefore, Mr. Carlson said, “it is dangerous when the country is led by the Democratic Party”.

Meanwhile, Republicans expressed confidence that presidential candidate Donald Trump would begin dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the Ukraine issue.

In addition, Republican candidate for US Vice President, James Vance, when talking about Washington spending billions of dollars to aid Ukraine, also wondered about the goal that the US is trying to achieve.
