According to RT on August 5th, Politico (USA) reported that the differences within the Democratic Party regarding the Ukraine issue are actually more intense than what is outwardly presented to the public.

"The differences within the Democratic Party, as well as between the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden and the pro-Ukraine faction in Washington, are stronger than what is being said," Politico wrote.

According to Politico, publicly, Ukraine and its allies, along with most Democrats, “tend to express excessive gratitude to President Biden” for forging a global coalition and providing unprecedented economic and military support to Kyiv. At the same time, Politico notes that, privately, these assessments appear less generous; for example, some Ukrainian officials have expressed “sarcasm.”

Renowned American journalist Tucker Carlson stated that Democratic politicians are often "people who don't know how to do the work," and "decide to do something, but don't take responsibility." According to Carlson, the Democratic Party lacks practical skills and exists only on theory, desires, and hopes, thus only making things worse. Therefore, Carlson argues that "it is dangerous for the country to be led by the Democratic Party."

Meanwhile, Republicans expressed confidence that presidential candidate Donald Trump would begin dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the issue of Ukraine.

Furthermore, Republican vice presidential candidate James Vance, when discussing Washington's spending of billions of dollars on aid to Ukraine, also questioned the goals the U.S. is trying to achieve.
