Passenger bus crashes onto median strip on Ben Thuy Bridge.
While traveling on Ben Thuy 1 Bridge, a passenger bus belonging to Tan Kim Chi bus company lost control and crashed into the median separating the car and motorbike lanes.
The incident occurred on the morning of August 7th. According to witnesses, a passenger bus belonging to Tan Kim Chi bus company, with license plate 43F-0xxxx, was traveling on Ben Thuy 1 bridge from Ha Tinh to Nghe An when it suddenly lost control, veered onto the median strip, and blocked the motorbike lane.
Fortunately, there were no collisions with other vehicles at the same time, but the passenger bus sustained significant damage.
The fact that the car was blocking the entrance to the bridge, right in the motorbike lane, caused a prolonged traffic jam in both directions, forcing many vehicles to switch to the Ben Thuy 2 bridge.
Upon receiving the report, authorities arrived to determine the cause and coordinated the deployment of a crane to remove the passenger bus from the accident site. Traffic on Ben Thuy 1 Bridge soon returned to normal.
