Passenger bus crashed into the median on Ben Thuy bridge
While traveling on Ben Thuy 1 bridge, a Tan Kim Chi passenger bus lost control and crashed into the median separating the car and motorbike lanes.
The incident happened on the morning of August 7. According to witnesses, the Tan Kim Chi passenger bus with license plate 43F-0xxxx was traveling on Ben Thuy 1 bridge from Ha Tinh to Nghe An when it suddenly lost control, crashed into the median, and blocked the motorbike lane.
Fortunately there was no collision with other vehicles at the same time, the passenger car was badly damaged.
The car blocking the head of the bridge, right in the motorbike lane, caused a traffic jam in both directions, forcing many vehicles to switch to Ben Thuy 2 Bridge.
Upon receiving the incident, the authorities were present to determine the cause and coordinate to have the passenger bus towed away from the accident site. Traffic on Ben Thuy 1 Bridge returned to normal shortly after./.
