Visiting and giving gifts to Agent Orange victims in Nghia Dan and Vinh City
On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 2024) and the Day for Agent Orange victims, a number of localities and units organized visits and presented gifts to Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances in the area.
On August 8, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Nghia Dan district organized the giving of 34 gifts, including 6 gifts from the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Nghe An province, to Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances in the district.
This is a regular activity of the Association to share difficulties with victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, contributing to encouraging, sharing and motivating the victims' families to overcome difficulties and live in harmony with the community.

On this occasion, agencies, units, and organizations at the district level, 23 communes and towns in the area also presented more than 120 gifts to Agent Orange victims. The total donation cost was more than 45 million VND.
Party Committee - People's Committee & Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, Hung Binh Ward (Vinh City)Organized 2 delegations to visit and give gifts to 13 member families.

Hung Binh Ward has nearly 70 families suffering from Agent Orange. With the attention of the Party Committee, the government, the efforts of the Association, and the cooperation of many units and benefactors, in 13 years of operation, the Association has mobilized more than 400 million VND in funds. From there, more than 161 million VND has been spent to repair 4 houses, give savings books, support victims to treat serious illnesses, support scholarships for children of Association members, and give more than 470 gifts on holidays and Tet... Many members have overcome difficulties to find jobs and improve their lives.

On this occasion, Hung Binh ward also organized a meeting and discussion to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the Agent Orange/Dioxin Disaster (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 2024).
