Visiting and giving gifts to victims of Agent Orange in Nghia Dan and Vinh City.
To commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 2024) and the Day for Victims of Agent Orange, several localities and organizations have visited and presented gifts to Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances in their areas.
On August 8th, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Nghia Dan district organized the donation of 34 gift packages, including 6 from the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Nghe An province, to disadvantaged victims of Agent Orange in the district.
This is a regular activity of the Association aimed at sharing the difficulties with victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, contributing to encouraging, supporting, and motivating the families of the victims to overcome difficulties and integrate into the community.

On this occasion, agencies, units, and organizations at the district level, as well as 23 communes and towns in the area, also donated more than 120 gifts to Agent Orange victims. The total value of the donations exceeded 45 million VND.
Party Committee - People's Committee & Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Hung Binh Ward (Vinh City)Two delegations were organized to visit and present gifts to 13 member families.

Hung Binh Ward has nearly 70 families affected by the effects of Agent Orange. Thanks to the attention of the Party Committee and the government, the efforts of the Association, and the contributions of many organizations and philanthropists, the Association has raised over 400 million VND in its 13 years of operation. From this fund, over 161 million VND has been spent on repairing 4 houses, providing savings accounts, supporting victims with treatment for serious illnesses, providing scholarships for members' children, and distributing over 470 gifts during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year)... Many members have overcome difficulties, found employment, and improved their lives.

On this occasion, Hung Binh ward also organized a meeting and discussion to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the Agent Orange/dioxin disaster (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 2024).
