225 days on the construction site of 500kV line circuit 3

After 225 days of construction, the 500kV Transmission Line 3 Project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) has been energized and the entire line is fully operational.

The 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu transmission line project is the final component project of the 500kV line circuit 3 project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi. The Quang Trach - Quynh Luu project is 226 km long, passing through the provinces of Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An. The project has 463 column foundation locations, of which 237 are located over mountains, passing through many complex terrains. Of the 197 corridor anchorages, 7 anchorages cross rivers and large lakes, and 15 anchorages cross national highways. Photo: Cuong Dao

In addition to favorable factors, during the implementation process, the Project encountered many difficulties and challenges in mobilizing machinery and construction equipment simultaneously on the entire route; Difficulties in the route terrain with many locations on high hills and mountains, the road to the column foundation locations is difficult, especially when it rains, the road is steep, slippery, and the construction site is not favorable. Unfavorable weather conditions included many days of rain, storms, thunderstorms, extreme heat, many days of strong winds lasting from 3 to 7 hours, and thunderstorms... so at many times construction had to be stopped to ensure the safety of workers and construction equipment. Photo: Cuong Dao

Previously, EVNNPT completed the energization of the Thanh Hoa 500kV transformer station on June 28, 2024, the 500kV Nam Dinh 1 - Thanh Hoa transmission line project was completed on June 30, 2024, the 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa transmission line project and Nam Dinh 1 - Pho Noi transmission line project were completed on August 19, 2024.
