Border guards present gifts to poor students in Ky Son border commune.
On August 29th, the Nam Can Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Youth Volunteer Team of Vinh University High School for Gifted Students, presented gifts to underprivileged students in the border area.
At the Nậm Càn Border Guard Station's Charity House, the organizing committee presented 20 gift packages including books, school supplies, and bicycles to students of Nậm Càn Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School in Kỳ Sơn district, and 20 gift packages including materials and necessities to poor households in Nậm Càn commune; with a total value of over 50 million VND.
Previously, on August 28th, at the "Accompanying Dormitories in Border Areas" model in Tam Quang commune, Tam Quang Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Youth Volunteer Team of Vinh University High School for Gifted Students, organized the "Helping Children Go to School" program.
The program provided school supplies to 40 students in the dormitory, 70 students from Tam Quang 2 Primary School, 20 gift packages to 20 disadvantaged families, and essential necessities for students in the dormitory; with a total value of over 30 million VND.
