Border guards give gifts to poor students in Ky Son border commune
On August 29, Nam Can Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with the Youth Volunteer Team of Vinh University High School for the Gifted to give gifts to poor students in the border area.
At the Charity House of Nam Can Border Guard Station, the Organizing Committee presented 20 gifts including books, school supplies, bicycles to students of Nam Can Primary and Secondary Boarding School, Ky Son District and 20 gifts including raw materials and necessities to poor households in Nam Can Commune; with a total value of over 50 million VND.
Previously, on August 28, at the "Accompanying the dormitory in the border area" model, in Tam Quang commune, Tam Quang Border Guard Station coordinated with the Youth Volunteer Team of Vinh University High School for the Gifted to organize the program "Going to school with you".
The program presented school supplies to 40 students in the dormitory, 70 students of Tam Quang 2 Primary School, 20 gifts to 20 poor households and essential necessities for students' daily life in the dormitory; with a total value of more than 30 million VND./.
