Currently, the factory is discharging at a flow rate of 670m3/s, including discharge over 500m spillway3/s, discharge through the unit 170m3/s and discharge all 6 gates, an increase of 4 gates compared to the previous day. Discharge time until the water flow is below 1,000m3/s will gradually close to accumulate water and operate according to regulations

Mr. Ta Huu Hung - Director of Ban Ve Hydropower Plant

Previously, also on September 5, 2024, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense sent an operation order to Ban Ve Hydropower Company.

In which, the order is for the Director of Ban Ve Hydropower Company to operate Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir to discharge water downstream with a flow greater than the flood flow to the reservoir to gradually lower the reservoir water level to the water level of 193m as prescribed. The time to start implementing the order is 8:00 p.m., September 5, 2024. The discharge flow through the project is from 400m3/s to below 1,000m3/S.
