Three households in Que Phong district have been urgently relocated from landslide-prone areas.
At noon on September 22, the People's Committee of Que Phong district, Nghe An province, coordinated with local authorities to urgently relocate three households in Thong Thu commune out of the dangerous area.
Due to the impact of heavy rain and flooding, landslides from the high mountains have buried outbuildings and threatened the house of Mr. Quang Van Trung's family in Muong Piet village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district. posing a dangerous threat to the lives and property of the family.
Upon receiving the news, the People's Committee of Que Phong district directed local authorities and residents to help move all of Mr. Quang Van Trung's family's belongings and assets to a safe place.

Heavy rains also caused landslides, forcing the relocation of other households, including: the households of Ha Van Huyen and Luong Thi Hoa in Muong Piet village, and the household of Mr. Sam Van Thao in Muong Cat village, Thong Thu commune.
Mr. Phan Trong Dung, Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department of Que Phong District, said: During the rainy season, landslides frequently occur in Que Phong District. Currently, there are 38 locations in the district at risk of landslides. The district has issued warnings about these landslide-prone areas so that local authorities and residents can proactively implement preventative measures and remind people to take steps to respond to natural disasters.
