Urgent evacuation of 3 households in Que Phong district from landslide area
On the afternoon of September 22, the People's Committee of Que Phong district, Nghe An coordinated with local authorities to urgently evacuate 3 households in Thong Thu commune out of the danger zone.

Due to the impact of heavy rain and floods, landslides of soil and rocks from high mountains buried the outbuildings and threatened the house of Mr. Quang Van Trung's family in Muong Piet village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district. dangerous threat to life and property of family.

Upon receiving the news, the People's Committee of Que Phong district directed local authorities and people to help move all belongings and assets of Mr. Quang Van Trung's family to a safe place.

Heavy rain also caused landslides that forced the evacuation of other households: Ha Van Huyen and Luong Thi Hoa in Muong Piet village, and Mr. Sam Van Thao's household in Muong Cat village, Thong Thu commune.
Mr. Phan Trong Dung - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Que Phong district said: Landslides often occur in Que Phong district during the rainy season, the whole district currently has 38 locations affected by landslides. The district has warned locations at risk of landslides so that localities and people can proactively take preventive measures as well as remind people to take measures to respond to natural disasters.
