On the afternoon of September 24, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Council of the Young Pioneers of Nghe An province coordinated with the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province to organize a meeting with the Delegation of Nghe An province to attend the second mock session of the "Children's National Assembly" in 2024.

Mock session“Children's Parliament”The second time in 2024 is expected to take place from September 27 to September 29, 2024 at Dien Hong Hall, Vietnam National Assembly building.
Here, delegates will represent the voices of more than 500,000 young pioneers, teenagers and children in the province to participate in discussions and contribute ideas to two official topics of the meeting: "Preventing school violence, creating a safe environment for children" and "Preventing the harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants in the school environment".
Through activities that help children develop their capacity and skills to present opinions, views, and awareness of children's issues. At the same time, they will experience and learn about the highest state power apparatus, the National Assembly. Through this, they will be motivated to practice and strive to become responsible citizens to the country and society.
In Nghe An, following the direction of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, the Nghe An Provincial Young Pioneers Council sent children's profiles to participate in the selection of delegates to attend the second "Children's National Assembly" mock session in 2024. From here, the Central Council of Young Pioneers selected 6 delegates to attend the second "Children's National Assembly" mock session.

After selecting 6 delegates, the children participated in 2 training courses organized by the Central Council of Young Pioneers. Thereby, they were trained in specialized contents including: General introduction to the National Assembly; Skills in synthesizing and expressing opinions; Laws on child protection, prevention of child abuse; Prevention of tobacco harms and ensuring children's rights; Skills in meeting and contacting child voters; Skills in exchanging information and answering press interviews.
At the meeting, comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province exchanged and equipped the delegates with a lot of important knowledge.
It emphasized the role of National Assembly deputies; the responsibilities of National Assembly deputies; and equipped the deputies with the awareness and skills of a National Assembly deputy. In particular, the skills that a National Assembly deputy needs to have to present opinions at the National Assembly session were of great interest to the children.
