Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union: Innovating activities, focusing on the grassroots
On the afternoon of October 4, the working delegation of the Provincial Labor Federation supervised the activities of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Union.
Attending the meeting were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies; representatives of leaders of a number of affiliated grassroots trade unions.
The supervision content includes leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 02 - NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation; studying and thoroughly grasping the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, the 8th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union; the development and promulgation of regulations and work programs for the 2023 - 2028 term.
In recent times, the activities of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union have received attention from the Party Committee in terms of leadership, direction, professional facilitation, and support in terms of facilities and funding. The implementation of the Resolution of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union Congress and the Resolution of the Civil Servants' Trade Union Congress has been carried out promptly and according to plan, and the policies have been consulted by the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Executive Committee according to regulations.
The policies and tasks of the Provincial Federation of Labor have basically been fully and promptly implemented. In addition to the achieved results, with the specific characteristicsgrassroots unionIn state administrative agencies and public service units, there is no government at the same level, so the activities of the Civil Servants' Trade Union and grassroots trade unions still have some limitations such as: Unable to organize dialogue conferences at the level of civil servants' trade unions; The work of supervising the implementation of regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees cannot be carried out; Difficulty in organizing movement activities during office hours...
The Standing Committee of the Civil Servants' Trade Union shall base on the issued programs and plans to implement the contents fully and promptly. The work of preparing draft documents must be thoughtful, focused, and close to reality.
After the grassroots trade union congress for the 2023-2028 term, the Civil Servants' Trade Union guided and directed the grassroots trade union Executive Committee to draft documents in accordance with the provisions of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter; directed the grassroots trade union inspection committee to organize supervision and report to the Civil Servants' Trade Union. Every year, the Civil Servants' Trade Union organizes supervision of grassroots trade unions in developing programs and action plans.
At the same time, strictly implement regulations on organizing annual peer-to-peer financial inspections, organizing Standing Committee and Executive Committee meetings according to the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union.
Implementing Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo, the Civil Servants' Trade Union has fully implemented the policies of the Provincial Federation of Labor. Basic targets have been achieved, trade union activities closely follow reality, suitable to the situation and characteristics of each unit. Trade union administrative activities have been streamlined, applying digital transformation.
At the meeting, the leadersCivil Servants' UnionNghe An has made a number of recommendations and proposals related to the assessment of some characteristics of the unit such as: Focusing on assessing the direction of grassroots trade unions in implementing activities according to the functions and tasks of the trade union organization, considering instructions on organizing some activities to take care of union members' children, requesting the inspection committee to study and organize professional training for members doing inspection work of industry and district trade unions.
Appreciating the preparation work of the Civil Servants' Union and the results achieved, comrade Thai Minh Sy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation affirmed that the union activities have gone into depth, associated with the responsibility of the Party Committee. At the same time, it shows the proactiveness, methodicalness, responsibility and creativity of the union staff with the organization.
In addition to the positive results, comrade Thai Minh Sy suggested that the Civil Servants' Trade Union seriously absorb the instructions and orientations of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and the Trade Union organization in the coming time.
