Voter Nguyen Tho Van proposes addressing shortcomings in the printing and use of textbooks. Photo: Thanh Cuong

Regarding education, Mr. Nguyen Tho Van, a voter from Van Dong hamlet (Hien Son commune), reflected that students are currently using too many different sets of textbooks. Each school uses one set, yet only one set of exam questions is used, which can make it difficult for students to grasp the material. Furthermore, in a family with two sisters, the older sister cannot reuse the younger sister's old textbook because it contains exercises, leading to waste.

Voter Nguyen Tho Van continued to raise concerns about the shortcomings in the production, printing, and sale of textbooks, which affect the rights of students and users. This was also a suggestion that many voters were concerned about and raised at the conference. Therefore, Mr. Van suggested that stricter management measures are needed, and serious action should be taken against those who violate regulations in the production and printing of textbooks.

Mr. Pham Van Tuyen, a voter from Hien Son commune, expressed his opinion that in Do Luong district in particular, and Nghe An province in general, whenever cremation services are needed, families have to travel all the way to Ha Tinh or Thanh Hoa, which is both inconvenient and incurs many additional costs.

In addition, with land resources decreasing and people's living standards improving, the demand for cremation is increasing. Therefore, voters suggest that Nghe An province should soon build a crematorium to serve the needs of the people.
