Voters propose that cremation services be introduced in Nghe An soon.
During a meeting with constituents by the National Assembly representatives from the province, voters in Do Luong district requested that Nghe An province should soon build a crematorium to serve the needs of the people.

On the morning of October 8th, National Assembly delegates Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee; and Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee and full-time National Assembly delegate from Nghe An province, held a meeting with voters in Do Luong district before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Also attending were representatives from the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment; Agriculture and Rural Development; and representatives from the People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Do Luong district.

After hearing the provincial National Assembly representatives inform local voters about the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, voters in Do Luong district submitted numerous suggestions to higher authorities.
Regarding labor, employment, and social security issues, voters in Do Luong district reflected that currently, many agencies, organizations, and individuals are involved in brokering overseas labor export, with many of them operating outside of their initial commitments, causing harm to the rights of workers. Voters requested that the Government strictly control and manage this activity.

Voters in Do Luong district expressed concerns about the increasing complexity and sophistication of usurious lending, illegal credit, online fraud, and other types of crime. They requested that relevant authorities strengthen measures to prevent these issues promptly.
Regarding food hygiene and safety, voters in Do Luong district have reported a high prevalence of contaminated, unverified, and low-quality food on the market, particularly near schools. Voters request that relevant authorities implement strong measures to combat counterfeit, substandard, and smuggled goods.

Regarding education, Mr. Nguyen Tho Van, a voter from Van Dong hamlet (Hien Son commune), reflected that students are currently using too many different sets of textbooks. Each school uses one set, yet only one set of exam questions is used, which can make it difficult for students to grasp the material. Furthermore, in a family with two sisters, the older sister cannot reuse the younger sister's old textbook because it contains exercises, leading to waste.
Voter Nguyen Tho Van continued to raise concerns about the shortcomings in the production, printing, and sale of textbooks, which affect the rights of students and users. This was also a suggestion that many voters were concerned about and raised at the conference. Therefore, Mr. Van suggested that stricter management measures are needed, and serious action should be taken against those who violate regulations in the production and printing of textbooks.

Mr. Phan Van Lai (95 years old), a voter from Hien Son commune, reflected that the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts still has many shortcomings, causing difficulties for people. This is especially true for policy beneficiaries, particularly elderly people who do not use smartphones or have difficulty using them as transaction tools, as well as operating ATMs.

Mr. Pham Van Tuyen, a voter from Hien Son commune, expressed his opinion that in Do Luong district in particular, and Nghe An province in general, whenever cremation services are needed, families have to travel all the way to Ha Tinh or Thanh Hoa, which is both inconvenient and incurs many additional costs.
In addition, with land resources decreasing and people's living standards improving, the demand for cremation is increasing. Therefore, voters suggest that Nghe An province should soon build a crematorium to serve the needs of the people.

At the conference, many suggestions related to shortcomings such as the issuance and renewal of land use right certificates in the area were also raised by voters to National Assembly representatives and relevant departments and agencies.
In addition, voters also submitted petitions to National Assembly representatives and relevant departments and agencies on issues such as: transportation infrastructure development; policies and benefits for victims of Agent Orange and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution; payment of support funds for African swine fever; anti-corruption efforts; traffic safety issues in schools; inadequacies in the recruitment of civil servants and public employees in the area;...

At the conference, representatives from various departments, agencies, and the Do Luong district directly answered and explained some of the issues raised by voters that fell within their jurisdiction.

On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Tran Nhat Minh responded to issues within his authority. He also received other opinions and suggestions from voters to forward to the Government, the National Assembly, and relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
