Passenger bus overturned on N5 road, 2 people died

A passenger bus traveling from Muong Xen (Ky Son) to Vinh City was traveling on National Highway 7C when it suddenly lost control and flipped into a field, killing two people.

According to information, at around 4:00 a.m. on October 8, Thanh Tam passenger bus with license plate 37B - 022.06 was running on the Muong Xen (Ky Son) - Vinh City route, driven by driver Dau Viet Sang (born in 1981), residing in Block 6, Con Cuong Town, Con Cuong District.

When reaching National Highway 7C (also known as N5 Road) through Nghi My Commune, Nghi Loc District, the bus lost control and crashed into a marker on the right side of the road, then plunged into the edge of a rice field, overturned, causing damage to the front of the bus and broken windshield...

The accident killed two people: Mrs. Moong Thi T. (born in 1973), residing in Huu Kiem commune, and Mrs. Xeo Thi L. (born in 1971), residing in Bao Thang commune, both in Ky Son district. The others were slightly injured, and together they shouted and opened the door to escape.

After the accident, the bus company sent another vehicle to pick up the passengers and continue their journey. The accident scene was cleared early afternoon that same day.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by authorities.
