Indian beauty wins convincingly

The Miss Grand International 2024 final took place on the evening of October 25 in Bangkok (Thailand) with the guidance of MC Matthew Deane and the competition of nearly 70 international contestants. Thanks to her excellent performance from the bikini show, evening gown, peace presentation to the question and answer round, Rachel Gupta (India) was named in the highest position. She burst into tears at the moment of announcing the results and could not contain her happiness when receiving the crown from her "predecessor" Luciana Fuster (Peru).

Rachel Gupta's coronation as Miss Grand International 2024 did not surprise the audience watching the contest. Since entering the contest until the final round, the Indian beauty has always been in the group of outstanding contestants, and many beauty sites have rated her as a strong candidate for this year's crown. The new beauty queen is currently 20 years old, she possesses a sharp, seductive beauty with a height of 1.78m and body measurements: 82-61-91.
Before the final, the beauty was commented to have met the 4B criteria that a Miss Grand International needs: Beauty - Body - Brain - Business (beauty - body - intelligence - ability to make money). She even admitted that she has a 5th element - Bollywood (referring to the potential for development in the Indian entertainment market). Rachel Gupta has a large fan base, attracting more than 1 million followers on Instagram. On her personal page, she introduces herself as an actress, model and businesswoman.

In addition to her perfect figure and professional performance, Rachel Gupta won over the judges and the audience at the final night with her presentation skills, persuasive and intelligent behavior. In response to the behavioral question: "What do you think is the most important problem that the world needs to solve and what solution do you propose?", the beauty said she thought it was poverty due to overpopulation and lack of resources.
"I think it's time for world leaders to take responsibility and start spreading the idea of providing adequate resources for everyone. We can do this by promoting family planning in different countries. I come from India, where not everyone has access to food, clean water, education or basic necessities, and this is happening in most other parts of the world. It's time for us to stop fighting each other, respect each other and focus on ensuring that there are adequate resources for everyone on this planet," she shared.
Que Anh 'empty-handed'

Vietnamese beauty Vo Le Que Anh "left empty-handed" in this year's race when she was not called into the top 20 finalists and then lost the Miss Popular Vote award (contestant with the most votes from the audience) to an Indonesian contestant, thus losing the chance to be specially entered into the top 10. This result also caused Vietnam to end its 8-year streak of consecutive achievements in qualifying for Miss Grand International.
