According to the Semafor website, a study using artificial intelligence (AI) conducted by American entrepreneurs shows that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has a higher chance of winning the 2024 election than her Republican opponent, Donald Trump.

The aforementioned research was conducted by Aaru, a company founded in September, which uses AI to model voters in seven key battleground states by processing demographic data and creating thousands of "voter avatars"—bots designed to mimic real voters.

These bots analyze news and information accessible to real voters, thereby forming their support for the candidates. The results show that, although the AI bots showed roughly equal support for both candidates, Harris would win by a narrow margin.

Predictions suggest that Trump has a 73.3% chance of winning in Arizona, 62.1% in North Carolina, and 61.8% in Georgia. Meanwhile, Harris has a 63.3% chance of winning in Michigan, 53.4% in Nevada, 52.4% in Pennsylvania, and 50.9% in Wisconsin. At least 1,000 bots were used to simulate voters in each of these states, with support based on news released before midnight Sunday.

Aaru was founded by two 19-year-old entrepreneurs, Cam Fink and Ned Koch, along with their 15-year-old partner, John Kessler. These young entrepreneurs claim their system is highly accurate, significantly cheaper, and faster than traditional surveying methods.

The US general election takes place on November 5th. Voters will elect the president, one-third of the Senate, all 435 members of the House of Representatives, and governors in 11 states and 2 territories.

This US presidential race features Republican candidate Donald Trump, who served as president from 2017 to 2021 and is seeking a return to the White House after losing to Joe Biden in 2020. Kamala Harris, the current Vice President since January 2021, is also seeking a presidential term.
