Today's live pig price (November 12, 2024): Remains stable in the North, Central-Central Highlands, and South, trading in the range of 60,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Pork prices in the Northern region
Today, live pig prices in the North remain unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 62,000 and 64,000 VND/kg.
The highest price (64,000 VND/kg) was recorded in provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, and Hai Duong.
The lowest price (62,000 VND/kg) was found in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh.
In the remaining provinces, the price fluctuates around 63,000 VND/kg.
Live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions
In Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, today's live pig prices remain stable, fluctuating between 60,000 and 63,000 VND/kg.
The highest price (63,000 VND/kg) was recorded in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces.
The lowest price (60,000 VND/kg) is found in Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Quang Nam provinces.
In the remaining provinces, the price ranges from 61,000 to 62,000 VND/kg.
Pork prices in the Southern region
Live pig prices in the South remain stable, fluctuating between 60,000 and 63,000 VND/kg.
The highest price (63,000 VND/kg) was recorded in An Giang and Can Tho.
The lowest price (60,000 VND/kg) was found in Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Hau Giang, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Bac Lieu.
In the remaining provinces, prices range from 61,000 to 62,000 VND/kg.
Live pig prices across the country remained stable today, fluctuating between 60,000 and 64,000 VND/kg.
The People's Committee of Bac Kan province has just issued Decision No. 1855/QD-UBND dated October 25, 2024, providing additional funding to support livestock farmers who suffered losses due to African swine fever and lumpy skin disease in buffaloes and cattle. The total support funding is over 26 billion VND.
Specifically, 3,767 livestock farming households in 8 districts and cities of the province will receive support. The specific support levels are as follows:
African swine fever: 38,000 VND/kg.
Lumpy skin disease in buffaloes and cattle: 45,000 VND/kg.
This support level is applied according to Government Decree No. 02/2017/ND-CP, on mechanisms and policies to support agricultural production to restore production after natural disasters and epidemics.
According to statistics, the entire province had a total of 18,374 livestock affected by African swine fever, with a total weight of 685,831 kg culled. Additionally, 6 livestock were culled due to lumpy skin disease, with a weight of 776 kg.
This is the first phase of support, applicable to households whose livestock were damaged between January 1, 2024 and August 31, 2024.
The financial support comes from the provincial budget reserve for 2024 and has been allocated to districts and cities. The province requests that localities promptly disburse payments to people to help them quickly obtain funds for restocking their livestock.
