Pig price today November 12, 2024: Stable in the North, Central - Central Highlands and South, trading in the range of 60,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the North
Today, the price of live pigs in the North has not changed compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
The highest price (64,000 VND/kg) was recorded in provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, and Hai Duong.
The lowest price (62,000 VND/kg) appeared in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh.
The remaining provinces have prices fluctuating at 63,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in Central Highlands region
In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the price of live pigs today is also stable, fluctuating between 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
The highest price (63,000 VND/kg) was recorded in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An.
The lowest price (60,000 VND/kg) is in Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam.
The remaining provinces have prices from 61,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the Southern region
Pig prices in the South remain stable, fluctuating between 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
The highest price (63,000 VND/kg) was recorded in An Giang and Can Tho.
The lowest price (60,000 VND/kg) appeared in Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Hau Giang, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Bac Lieu.
The remaining provinces have prices ranging from 61,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.

Pig prices nationwide today remain stable, fluctuating from 60,000 to 64,000 VND/kg.
The People's Committee of Bac Kan province has just issued Decision No. 1855/QD-UBND dated October 25, 2024, providing additional funding to support livestock farmers affected by African swine fever and lumpy skin disease in cattle and buffalo. The total support budget is more than 26 billion VND.
Specifically, 3,767 livestock households in 8 districts and cities of the province will be supported. The specific support levels are:
African swine fever: 38,000 VND/kg.
Lumpy skin disease in buffalo and cows: 45,000 VND/kg.
This support level is applied according to Decree No. 02/2017/ND-CP of the Government, on mechanisms and policies to support agricultural production to restore production after natural disasters and epidemics.
According to statistics, the whole province has a total of 18,374 livestock infected with African swine fever, with a destroyed weight of 685,831 kg. At the same time, 6 livestock were destroyed due to lumpy skin disease, with a weight of 776 kg.
This is the first support period, applicable to households with damaged livestock between January 1, 2024 and August 31, 2024.
The support funds are taken from the provincial budget reserve in 2024 and have been allocated to districts and cities. The province requires localities to urgently pay people to help them quickly have funds to restore their herds.
