Thanh Chuong students compete in the Golden Bell contest to learn about reproductive health.

On the afternoon of November 18, at Dang Thuc Hua High School, the Department of Population - Family Planning coordinated with the Medical Center and Thanh Chuong District Youth Union to organize"Golden Bell" contest2024 with the theme "Learning about Population and Reproductive Health Care for Adolescents & Youth".

The contest is a meaningful activity to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), towards the National Action Month on Population and celebrate Vietnam Population Day (December 26).

This is also an activity to implement the Youth Union program and youth movement for the 2023-2024 school year. Thereby, creating a healthy and useful playground for union members and young people to demonstrate their talents, intelligence, and creativity; at the same time, practicing logical thinking skills, handling situations, exchanging, learning and sharing life experiences.

Previously, the "Golden Bell" contest was an annual program organized by the Department of Population and Family Planning in many schools and received the participation of a large number of teachers and students.

With many exciting and attractive contents, the implementation of the contest has created an interesting playground, diversifying educational forms to enhance the initiative and effectiveness of knowledge acquisition, contributing to comprehensive education for union members and youth. At the same time, equipping students with life skills and behavioral skills in dealing with social issues is a provision to help them confidently step into life.

Participating in this contest, 100 students and more than 1,000 fans of Dang Thuc Hua High School went through 30 questions to learn about local culture, history, and geography.

Students also have the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding through questions about population - reproductive health of adolescents and young people; marriage and family law; life skills, skills to prevent sexual abuse, prevent domestic violence, gender equality, etc.

Between the competitions, there were many other exciting activities such as the teachers' relief competition, the audience interaction and enjoying many elaborate performances by the teachers and the school.

At the end of the contest, the best prize was awarded to Nguyen Thi Minh Chau - class 11A1 - Dang Thuc Hua High School.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to 4 individuals with good achievements and 2 classes of enthusiastic and professional cheerleaders.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded 10 gifts to students who overcame difficulties and studied well at the school.
