Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital cooperates with Children Action to examine and perform surgery for children with motor disabilities.
During the three days of November 16-18, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital coordinated with a team of experts from the humanitarian organization Children Action (Child Protection and Humanitarian Activities Organization) to conduct free screening and surgery for children under 16 years old with congenital musculoskeletal defects.
This is the second time in 2024 that the program has beenNghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospitaland Children Action Organization. The first one took place in June 2024 and brought many positive results in treating children with serious disabilities.

In this program, there is a special participation of Professor, Doctor Pierre Journeau - Head of Orthopedic Surgery Department, Nancy Children's Hospital, Allée du Morvan, France and Doctor Benoît de Courtivron - Orthopedic Surgeon, Department of Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics CHRU Clocheville (Tours - France) directly examining the children.
On November 16, the screening was carried out seriously and professionally. The team organized screening for 65 children. Through the screening, the experts selected 14 children with congenital or post-traumatic musculoskeletal diseases, cerebral palsy sequelae to undergo orthopedic surgery at the Hospital on November 17-18.
The program is an opportunity for children with motor disabilities to be examined and have complex deformities corrected, helping them to have better physical shape and function; providing opportunities for children to access high-quality, international medical services to effectively care for and improve their quality of life in the long term, opening up a bright future and changing their lives.
