Suspect arrested urgently for stealing 22 iPhones.

Vang Ngoc Nhu (31 years old, residing in Bac Cuong ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province) was arrested for robbing 22 iPhones and other assets with a total value of over 800 million VND.

The Lao Cai Provincial Police confirmed on November 30th that at approximately 8:15 PM on November 28th, the Lao Cai City Police received a report of a robbery at the FPT Shop on Hoang Lien Street, Kim Tan Ward, Lao Cai City.

According to the report, a male suspect used a knife to threaten a sales employee and stole 22 Apple phones (still in their original boxes) and other items with a total value of approximately over 800 million VND.

Upon receiving the report, the Lao Cai Provincial Police directed the Lao Cai City Police to coordinate with the provincial police's professional departments to cordon off the area and conduct an investigation.

Authorities have identified the suspect with several suspicious characteristics as Vang Ngoc Nhu. The suspect traveled by bus from Lao Cai to Hanoi on the night of November 28th.

As soon as the suspected individual was identified, the task force set out to track the suspect, while simultaneously informing and coordinating with the My Dinh 2 Ward Police Station, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.

At approximately 9:30 AM on November 29th, when Vang Ngoc Nhu was attempting to sell the stolen phones, she was stopped and arrested by the police. Authorities seized 22 brand-new iPhones, over 16 million VND in cash, and other related evidence.

At the police station, Vang Ngoc Nhu initially confessed that she needed money, so she came up with the idea of ​​robbing the store. Around 8:10 PM on November 28th, Nhu, wearing a raincoat and a face mask, entered the store pretending to buy a heater. She then used a knife to threaten the staff and stole 22 iPhones and all the money from the cash register.

Immediately after stealing the items, Nhu took a bus back to Hanoi with the intention of selling the stolen phones to get money for spending.

The Lao Cai City Police have issued an emergency arrest warrant and detained the individual to continue the investigation and clarify the matter in accordance with the law.
