Emergency arrest of the subject who robbed 22 iPhones
Vang Ngoc Nhu (31 years old, residing in Bac Cuong ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province) was arrested for robbing 22 iPhones and other properties with a total value of more than 800 million VND.
Lao Cai Provincial Police confirmed on November 30 that at around 8:15 p.m. on November 28, Lao Cai City Police received a report of a robbery at FPT Shop, Hoang Lien Street, Kim Tan Ward, Lao Cai City.
According to the report, a male subject used a knife to threaten a sales staff and robbed 22 Apple brand phones (still in their boxes) and other assets with a total value of more than 800 million VND.

Immediately upon receiving the report, Lao Cai Provincial Police directed Lao Cai City Police to coordinate with the Provincial Police's professional departments to go to the scene to isolate, investigate and verify.
The authorities identified the suspect as Vang Ngoc Nhu. The suspect took a bus from Lao Cai to Hanoi on the night of November 28.
As soon as the suspect was identified, the task force set out to follow the suspect's trail, and at the same time informed and coordinated with the My Dinh 2 Ward Police, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.

At around 9:30 a.m. on November 29, when Vang Ngoc Nhu was carrying the stolen phone numbers to sell, she was checked and arrested by the police. The police seized 22 iPhones with original boxes, more than 16 million VND in cash, and many related evidences.
At the police station, Vang Ngoc Nhu initially confessed that because she needed money, she had the idea of robbing the store. At around 8:10 p.m. on November 28, Nhu put on a raincoat and a mask and went into the fake store to buy a heating lamp, then used a knife to threaten the staff and robbed 22 iPhones and all the money in the cash register.
Immediately after robbing the above property, Nhu took a bus back to Hanoi with the intention of selling the stolen phone numbers for spending money.
Lao Cai City Police have issued an order to arrest and detain the person in an emergency to continue investigating and clarifying the case according to the law.
