National Assembly delegates meet voters of Dien Chau district
On the morning of December 4, in Dien Phuc commune, the XV National Assembly deputies elected at constituency No. 5 had a meeting with voters of Dien Phuc and Dien Thanh communes and Dien Chau town (Dien Chau district) after the 8th session of the XV National Assembly.
Attending the meeting with voters were comrades: Nguyen Van Chi - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province. Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and Dien Chau district.

Voters petition on policies
At the meeting, Dien Chau voters highly appreciated the activities of the National Assembly in recent times, which have been creative, innovative, effective and flexible. Voters assessed that the results of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly have focused on improving the quality of promulgating legal documents; many draft laws and important issues of the country have been discussed and approved by the National Assembly; resolutions have been institutionalized, bringing the Party's policies into practice, and solving many other important issues of the country.

Along with that, voters raised many recommendations and proposals related to a number of areas of interest to voters and people.
Voter Nguyen Thi Thuong - an officer of Dien Thanh Commune Health Station, made a recommendation regarding the policy on medical facilities. She requested that superiors have a plan to supplement and arrange medical staff at medical centers according to the provisions of Circular 03/TT-BYT; propose to give medical staff seniority and increase direct pay for medical station staff; increase allowances and create conditions for issuing cards for village and commune health workers; population officials with medical degrees are entitled to special benefits like medical staff at 40%.

Regarding the compensation and site clearance work for project implementation in the area, voter Tran Thanh Xuan, Dien Chau town, reflected: The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 7 section passing through Dien Chau district has been implemented for nearly 3 years, but the compensation and site clearance work has not been completed yet. Voters requested that all levels, sectors and localities need to speed up the progress and resolve the compensation and site clearance to speed up the project's construction progress.

In addition, Dien Chau district voters suggested policies for those who have contributed to the revolution; increased allowances for union and association officials; and policies for the elderly. Voters suggested support for teachers who have worked for over 15 years but due to difficult conditions had to quit their jobs and currently do not receive any policies, especially for preschool teachers.

Creating public consensus
At the conference, representatives of departments, branches and leaders of Dien Chau district received and explained voters' recommendations.

Regarding the people's petition to build a cemetery and crematorium in Dien Loi commune, according to comrade Le Manh Hien - Vice Chairman of Dien Chau District People's Committee, this project has been planned for the district and provincial areas. Currently, the district is collecting people's opinions to implement according to the grassroots democracy regulations.

Clarifying voters' concerns about the compensation policy for the National Highway 7 upgrade project, Vice Chairman of Dien Chau District People's Committee Le Manh Hien said: The district has organized many meetings, dialogues, propaganda, explanations, and grasped the people's thoughts, wishes, and proposals. During the implementation process, the locality has ensured compliance with the processes, procedures, and regulations of the State's laws.
According to comrade Le Manh Hien, the project to renovate and expand National Highway 7 through Dien Chau district has a total length of 9.303 km (including both sides of the route is 18.606 km), passing through Dien Chau town and the communes: Dien Thanh, Dien Phuc, Dien Cat and Minh Chau. Up to now, the handover (both left and right of the route): 18.012 km/18.608 km (reaching 96.9%). There are still 596 m of total length on both sides of the route, accounting for 3.1% of 31 households on the entire route.
"Upgrading this route is of great significance, contributing to strengthening connectivity, improving exploitation capacity, ensuring smooth traffic on the transport corridor from Nam Can Border Gate connecting Laos to the central coastal provinces, developing the local economy, ensuring national defense and security in the region. The locality hopes that people will understand and agree to let the project be implemented" - Vice Chairman of Dien Chau District People's Committee emphasized.

Delegate Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee answered voters' concerns within her authority; at the same time, requested the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province to synthesize voters' opinions and propose and recommend to competent agencies and the National Assembly for resolution.
