OCOP products and specialties from Nghe An are showcased at Lotte Mart Vinh Supermarket.

From December 20th to 22nd, Lotte Mart Vinh supermarket will feature over 200 OCOP products and specialties from Nghe An province, sourced from 40 different businesses across the province.

On the afternoon of December 20th, the Nghe An Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Program for promoting and selling OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An province at Lotte Mart Vinh Supermarket.

Attending the opening ceremony were: Mr. Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Le Duc Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi - Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; and leaders of businesses, units, and Lotte Mart Vinh supermarket.

The program aims to introduce and promote OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An province to consumers, distributors, agents, supermarkets, especially Lotte Mart Vinh; and to support production and business units of OCOP specialty products of Nghe An province in finding and expanding markets for their products.

In addition, support will be provided to businesses, cooperatives, and distributors to connect supply and demand, aiming to find stable outlets for OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Cao Nguyen Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, emphasized: "This event is an important milestone in building and spreading the brand of OCOP products to consumers. It is also an opportunity for production units to seek investors to develop and expand the production of advantageous and potential products of the province, thereby strengthening the supply capacity of Nghe An province in both quantity and quality."

The exhibition area at the supermarket features over 200 product samples from 40 reputable and exemplary OCOP (One Commune One Product) units in the province, such as: Pu Mat Medicinal Herbs Joint Stock Company; ATC Investment and Production Joint Stock Company; Sy Thang Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Import-Export Company Limited; Ha Duy Minh Group Joint Stock Company; Nghe An Fisheries Joint Stock Company, along with many other high-quality OCOP products and specialties.

The exhibition area will be a place to bring OCOP products closer to the market, especially to customers of Lotte Mart Vinh supermarket. Through this, it is hoped that, with close cooperation between all parties, OCOP products will not only build a strong brand domestically but also reach international markets, contributing to enhancing the value and position of Nghe An's agricultural products.

Currently, Nghe An province has 567 products ranked as meeting OCOP quality standards of 3 stars or higher, including 37 products with 4 stars, 1 product with 5 stars, and 2 products with the potential to achieve 5 stars. Nghe An ranks second nationwide in the number of products with recognized star ratings (only behind Hanoi).
