Arrest of fugitive wanted for 15 years
Nghi Loc District Police (Nghe An) have just arrested Le Thanh Nhung (born 1960), residing in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.
This is a subject wanted for 15 years for being involved in the case of "Lack of responsibility causing serious damage to State property" that occurred in Khanh Hoa province.
Nationally wanted subject Le Thanh Nhung is wanted by the Investigation Police Agency of Cam Ranh City Police, Khanh Hoa Province under Decision No. 22, dated July 10, 2009 for the crime of "Lack of responsibility causing serious damage to state property". To avoid detection by authorities, the subject uses many tricks such as frequently changing hiding places through many localities; not contacting family, relatives..., making it difficult to verify and arrest.
Using professional measures, in mid-December 2024, Nghi Loc District Police determined that Le Thanh Nhung was present in Khanh Hop Commune, Nghi Loc District, so they deployed a plan to arrest the subject. On December 19, 2024, Le Thanh Nhung was arrested by Nghi Loc District Police in Hop Thai Hamlet, Khanh Hop Commune, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province.
Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are detaining the subject for handling according to the law.
