New and spacious appearance of Giai Pagoda Historical Relic

After recent construction and renovation, the Provincial Historical and Cultural Relic - Giai Pagoda in Minh Tien Commune (Thanh Chuong) has a new, spacious appearance.
Giai Pagoda in the center of Ngoc Chua hamlet, Minh Tien commune is an ancient relic, a place for long-standing cultural and religious activities of local people. With the donations of benefactors, as well as the cooperation of the local community, the project to restore and embellish Giai Pagoda has been implemented, expanding the campus from 464m2up 3,800m2Currently, the pagoda has been built spaciously with many items such as Dai Hung Bao Dien, Mau Temple, Ancestor Temple, Guest House... Photo: Huy Thu Dai Hung Bao Dien was built in the shape of the letter "cong" with traditional architecture, including 5 front rooms and 3 back rooms. The back room is a house with 2 roof floors and a 17m high main column. Photo: Huy ThuThe ends of the front hall's railings rest on stone pillars attached to beautifully carved stone railings. The ends of the front hall's railings are stylized with dragon and cloud shapes, winding. On the roof of the rear hall is a 13-storey pagoda. The lower hall is decorated with an altar and altars to the Dharma protectors Trừng Ác, Khuyến Thiện, Đức Chúa Ông, and Đức Thánh Hiền. The upper hall is decorated with altars of Buddha Shakyamuni, Buddha Amitabha, Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta, Bodhisattva Manjushri... On both sides are the altars of Avalokitesvara, the altars of the Patriarch Mahakasyapa. In front of the guest house is a garden of flowers and ornamental plants that are meticulously cared for and trimmed.
