The Giai Pagoda Historical Site boasts a new, impressive appearance.

Following recent construction and renovation, the provincial-level historical and cultural relic - Giai Pagoda in Minh Tien commune (Thanh Chuong district) - now has a new, more impressive appearance.

bna_1(1).jpg — Giai Pagoda, located in the center of Ngoc Chua hamlet, Minh Tien commune, is an ancient relic and a long-standing center of cultural and religious activities for the local people. Thanks to the generous donations of benefactors and the joint efforts of the local community, the project to restore and renovate Giai Pagoda has been implemented, expanding its grounds from 464 square meters.²up to 3,800m²Currently, the temple has been renovated and expanded with many facilities such as the main hall, the shrine dedicated to the Mother Goddess, the ancestral hall, the guesthouse, etc. Photo: Huy Thu

bna_2(1).jpg — The main hall of the temple is built in the shape of the Chinese character "gong" (工), with traditional architecture, consisting of 5 front bays and 3 rear bays. The rear bay is a two-story building with a roof supported by 17-meter-high main pillars. Photo: Huy Thu

bna_3...jpg — The eaves of the front hall rest on stone columns attached to beautifully carved stone railings. The gable ends of the front hall are stylized with swirling dragon and cloud motifs. The lower hall houses an incense altar and shrines dedicated to the guardian deities Punishing Evil, Encouraging Goodness, Lord Buddha, and the Sages. The upper hall houses altars dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, and Bodhisattvas such as Mahasthamaprapta and Manjushri... Looking from inside out, to the right of the temple, on the outside, the Mother Goddess shrine is a three-bay building with a curved tiled roof and pointed eaves. Inside, the ancestral shrine is built in a row, all facing the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha). Photo: Huy Thu

To the left of the temple, outside is a five-room guesthouse, and inside is a restroom area with modern amenities. In front of the guesthouse is a meticulously maintained garden with flowers and plants. Photo: Huy Thu

From a humble ancient temple in the middle of the village, after restoration and renovation, Giai Pagoda has taken on a new, spacious appearance with the most beautiful scenery in Thanh Chuong district.
