Also this afternoon, at Ngu Tu Pagoda, the Ceremony of Invoking Spirits into Statues took place. Monks and Buddhist followers performed spiritual rituals to invoke spirits into five new statues that had been brought from Son Dong craft village, Hoai Duc, Hanoi.
These are statues of Shakyamuni Buddha, Manjushri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Venerable Master, and other sages, all crafted from unpolished jackfruit wood.

It is known that Ngưu Tử Pagoda in Block 2A, Dùng town, is an ancient pagoda that has existed for a long time. During the war, Ngưu Tử Pagoda was damaged, leaving only the foundation of the courtyard. In 2014, the People's Committee of Nghe An province approved the restoration of this pagoda.
For over 10 years, under the guidance of the monks, the Provincial Buddhist Association, the temple management board, and Buddhist followers from near and far, efforts have been made to rebuild and renovate the temple, expanding religious activities, so that Ngưu Tử Temple has become a beautiful temple, meeting the religious and spiritual needs of the local people.
